Stephanie and Giovanni exchanged their “I do’s” during their wedding last month at the beautiful Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel. Everything about their day was perfection. We had an amazing time capturing every detail of their big day. More importantly, we had an amazing time capturing every smile … and there were a lot of those going around! From their fun bridal party to the first look with dad to the endless dancing, the smiles kept coming! It’s these moments with friends and family that are ultimately cherished the most! Please join us as we congratulate Stephanie and Giovanni once more. We wish them a lifetime of love and joy!
In the very heart of Coconut Grove, the Cruz Building is a tri-level venue that offered the glamorous back drop for Ana and Johannes’ wedding day. From the grand staircase and the ornate iron worked balconies to the magnificent stained-glass windows and bright outdoor terrace, this place did not lack in elegance. Ana and Johannes were able to really take advantage of all of the beauty that the Cruz Building had to offer by opting to do a First Look prior to their ceremony. Every aspect of this wedding was romantic and simply extraordinary… just like the couple themselves!
As the Fall season is quickly approaching, it is fun for us to look back at the beautiful moments we were able to capture this past Summer. One of these moments was the beautiful wedding of Laura and Brian at the historic Bonnet House Museum and Gardens in Ft. Lauderdale, FL with its vibrant yellow walls, murals, sculptures and 35 acres of tropical gardens and water features. Although this was clearly the perfect setting for Laura and Brian to say “I do”, it was the people involved in their big day that made the wedding so special. These two were surrounded by so much love from their friends and family! We hope you enjoy this glance of their big day.
It is always a pleasure to capture a sweet couple from start to finish on their wedding day and Ana-Mari + Alex were no exception. The excitement was in the air from the time she started getting dolled up until they celebrated the night away with friends and family. Their ceremony took place at Coral Gables’ historic Church of the Little Flower and was followed by a stunning reception at the Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove. The details in their wedding décor was only rivaled by how exquisite Ana Mari and Alex looked on their big day!
An engagement session should be a reflection of how the couple enjoys their time together. In Melissa and Leandro’s case, they have so much fun working out together that it only seemed natural that we capture them in action. Their love for Crossfit and each other is evident in these playful photos! They even brought their furry friend along for the fun!
Later that day, we headed to beautiful Coconut Grove for an afternoon stroll. It was a perfect way to end the day. We are so excited for their wedding this coming weekend. Please join us as we congratulate them and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
With another destination wedding on the horizon, it is natural for us to reminisce about the fantastic time we had shooting Jill and Robbie’s wedding weekend at the exclusive Lyford Cay Club in the Bahamas. There is always something special when friends and family from each side meet in one magical place for the purpose of celebrating a beautiful union… and this group sure knew how to celebrate! From the intimate ceremony by the breathtaking Bahamian shore to the contagious rhythms of the Junkanoo band, this wedding had it all! Our team was more than delighted to capture each moment, from start to finish, of this spectacular event. Enjoy the highlights!
Laura and Jorge are getting hitched this weekend! In honor of their upcoming nuptials we would like to share a few images from their engagement session. We had so much fun capturing their smiles and laughter at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens before we ventured off to Key Biscayne. Although the weather decided to shift on us towards the end of the day, we managed to get some awesome shots of this beautiful couple despite the unpredictable Miami weather!
There is something magical about weddings! It marks the beginning of a new chapter of a love story and Tanya + Mark’s story is a beautiful one to tell! Their wedding took place in the lovely Villa Woodbine located in historic Coconut Grove, FL. The venue was simply the perfect setting for this special couple to say their “I do’s” in the company of their family and friends. Every meaningful detail was beautifully curated to perfection! Their day unfolded like a dream, both rustic and romantic. The bond between the two of them is undeniably strong and is reflected in the following images. Congratulations, Tanya and Mark, on your new adventure!
Wedding at Villa Woodbine
Living and working in Washington DC, Lilian and Abdel are both full of life and lust for travel and adventure. We started our day exploring the Georgetown neighborhood with its historic architecture and quaint shops. This couple could not resist but stop at the famous Georgetown Cupcake for a sweet treat before we headed over to take a stroll at the park to admire the Fall foliage. No trip to DC would be complete without some sightseeing at the National Mall. Not even the government shutdown could stop us from capturing this adorable couple in action at our nation’s capital!
It was a gorgeous day to spend out on the baseball field giving this outgoing couple the chance to let loose and allow their personalities to shine. Hector’s passion for his fiancé, Stephanie, (and baseball!) made this the perfect location to start their shoot. Their session wouldn’t be complete without showing their chic side with a stroll through downtown Miami. We love the elegance and sophistication of their look! Stephanie and Hector proved that engagement sessions can be both fun as well as glamorous! We hope you enjoy the following images as much as we enjoyed capturing them.
We couldn’t wait to share a preview from Monica and Jimmy’s wedding! We are always grateful to capture happy couples on their special day, especially alongside our friends at House of Films. Anyone who has spent time with Monica and Jimmy knows that their wedding was destined to be tons of fun! Now add a perfect South Florida day, a gorgeous venue as The Cooper Estate, and a joyful group of friends and family, and you have the recipe for a great start to a marriage. Please enjoy a sneak peek of their day as we congratulate them on a lifetime of love! - Wedding at The Cooper Estate
This engagement session was such a good time to shoot and it all had to do with this vivacious couple! Elyse and Rickie commenced the day at the beautiful and historic Deering Estate and ended with some fun at the Firehouse where he works. Please stay tuned later on today for a sneak peek of their wedding day which was equally as delightful to shoot. In the meantime… enjoy their images!
South Florida is famous for its sunshine and beaches. Linda and Gabriel took advantage of this for the backdrop of their beautiful wedding at The Palms Hotel in Miami Beach. From the moment they started getting ready until the very end of their night, we had a fun time capturing all the emotion and laughter of their big day!
Julie and Jorge exchanged their “I do’s” at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, FL where they also partied the night away. From the beautiful coastal setting to each exquisite detail, this wedding had it all! We want to wish Julie and Jorge a lifetime of happiness! Please enjoy a sneak peek from their big day!
Happy New Year! As this is our first blog of 2014, we decided to kick it off with an exotic destination wedding teaser. There are so many beautiful places in the world, yet, there is no mystery to why the Le Blanc Resort and Spa in Cancun, Mexico was the location of choice for Vanessa and Danny. Please enjoy a sneak peek of this blissful couple’s stunning day!
Smiling is one of the most positive things you can do in your life. Lina just lights up and spreads the joy of smiling. Let’s not forget Andres, they complement each other so well that shooting this maternity session was just a breeze. Enjoy some of my favorites.
Engagement sessions are always a lot of fun and a great opportunity for us to learn how the couple reacts in front of the camera. Well, we learned quickly that the camera loved Jess and Andrew and their playful personalities! Their charming firefighter engagement session had a cool retro vibe that fit the couple perfectly. Pictures don’t lie … when the couple is having a blast as we had during their session, the result is magic! We hope you enjoy.
When couples start thinking about doing their engagement session I always recommend that they make it about themselves and what they enjoy. Melissa and Richard did just that. One of the things that brings them together is the joy of reading and what better place to start their e-session than where they spend a lot of their time – the Coral Gables library. But it didn’t stop there…they are both lawyers so they incorporated that into the session by shooting at another location where they spend most of their time – the Miami Dade Court House. This engagement session was so much fun, I know for a fact I am going to enjoy shooting their wedding in a couple of weeks. Enjoy!
This year I’ve been blessed with amazing clients and super vendors. When Angela from Wedded to Perfection called about this couple’s wedding date I was more than excited because I know the quality of their work. I had the opportunity a couple of weeks ago to shoot their engagement session. Monica and Joe are a wonderful couple and I know their upcoming wedding is going to be “one to remember.” Enjoy some of my favorites and stay tuned for more blogs coming soon!
With their wedding fast approaching, I had the opportunity to shoot Viviana and Francisco’s engagement session in the Wynwood area. It was amazing, and full of surprises when we ran into pop artist, Romero Britto. He’s a great person and even took the time to take a picture with the engaged couple. I really enjoyed shooting this awesome couple and I am super excited for their wedding. Enjoy.
There is so much to be said about this particular wedding! The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Hugh Catholic Church and the reception followed at Deering Estate. The exquisite reception was put together by Que Belle Events. This is just a preview, but I will let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy!
The minute I spoke with Jacqueline on the phone for the first time I knew I was going to enjoy shooting this wedding. This couple from Boston was so easy going. The moment I met them in person I knew shooting their big day was going to be simply amazing. Nathan was pretty nervous, as most grooms usually are, but after taking a few photos, the nervousness was all gone. The wedding took place at the beautiful and historical Hemingway House in Key West, Fl.
So much to share, so little time and the busy wedding season is just around the corner. I’m been blessed this year with amazing clients. Speaking of “amazing” – here’s a sneak peek of Jenny and Manny’s wedding, these too are truly “amazing.” One of the most fun weddings I’ve shot this year. Enough talking…here are some of my favorites.
With their wedding coming up in just three weeks I cannot believe it has been already a year since our first meeting. Having shot several events for their family and friends, I know Nina and Jonathan’s wedding is just going to be amazing. With a couple of re-schedules because of Miami’s unpredictable summer weather we got lucky with a couple of hours of no rain at the desirable Deering Estate. As predicted, I knew these two were going to be a pleasure to shoot. I cannot wait for their big day to arrive. Enjoy!
Shooting Massiel and Marc’s wedding close to two years ago was a pure joy so I got super excited when they contacted me to shoot a family photo session. It’s so hard to explain the feeling you get when you capture such an important day of people’s lives on their wedding day and that same feeling multiplies when you begin shooting family sessions with them. Enjoy!
