As we plan for our upcoming travels this July, we can’t help but look back at the fun we had on our 2014 family summer vacation. With stops at the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Hawaii, it was one of those trips you hoped would not come to an end!
We began our adventure visiting one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in the world, Grand Canyon National Park! There was something incredibly peaceful about looking out at the beauty and the vastness of the canyon. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon is roughly 4 to 6 million years old: Standing there and sharing this experience with loved ones as they take it all in for the first time is indescribable and priceless!
Our trip in Arizona did not stop there. We set south to Sedona through the visually-stimulating Red Rock country and past the most stunning towering rocks. We felt like we were in an old-time western movie! This place is a landscape photographers dream! Every twist and turn of the road provided jaw dropping views. We really enjoyed hiking through the trails and exploring the area.
Leaving the beauty of Arizona behind was a difficult task made easier when you know that you are headed towards paradise. Next stop: Hawaii! The island of Oahu is home of some of the most gorgeous beaches on the planet. Our first night was spent overlooking the surfers on Waikiki Beach and in no time at all we were into the Aloha spirit!
The remainder of our Hawaiian getaway, we stayed at Disney’s Aulani Resort. We were not disappointed! This place had something for everyone in our party from young to old. From big water slides, the lazy river and the luau, all the way down to the tiniest hidden Mickey detail, everything about Aulani felt magical. Bobby did not want to leave the resort and mom loved it!
Our trip to Hawaii wouldn’t be complete without exploring the island. We climbed the top of Diamond Head, we visited the Pearl Harbor memorial, took a tour around Kualoa Ranch, and of course had to have some shaved ice on the North Shore. Needless to say, everyone had an amazing time!

Back in 2011, we captured a beautiful wedding in Fisher Island, FL. We had such a great time celebrating with the couple and their wonderful family. Fast forward to 2014, it was now the bride’s sister’s turn to tie the knot. We were humbled when they contacted us to shoot the wedding in their hometown in Pennsylvania. We got into town a few days early, on a chilly day in November, in order to squeeze in an engagement session for Christi and Chris. There is always a little extra excitement when we get the opportunity to shoot in a new destination. We began the session at Frances Slocum State Park which offered a stunning backdrop with it’s gorgeous Autumn leaves. From there, we took a short drive to an adorable apple orchard where, to our fun surprise, it started to lightly snow (being from Miami, this was a novelty for us!) We had such a fun time which, as you can see, was reflected by their smiles in the photos. Please take a moment and enjoy some images of Christi and Chris’ engagement session.
We couldn’t wait to share a preview from Monica and Jimmy’s wedding! We are always grateful to capture happy couples on their special day, especially alongside our friends at House of Films. Anyone who has spent time with Monica and Jimmy knows that their wedding was destined to be tons of fun! Now add a perfect South Florida day, a gorgeous venue as The Cooper Estate, and a joyful group of friends and family, and you have the recipe for a great start to a marriage. Please enjoy a sneak peek of their day as we congratulate them on a lifetime of love!
Capturing special occasions for our clients brings us great joy and, as photographers, we are so very grateful to be trusted with such an important task. There is no doubt that we love what we do! This being said, we also realize that in order for us to capture memories of others and their families, it is vital for us to create and capture our own moments as well. Camera in hand, we sought to do just that with our latest trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL! Our stay at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn provided the perfect views as well as the ideal location to explore both Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. Needless to say, we had a blast!
In 2015, we aim to share a bit more of our past travels including Spain, Italy, Mexico, New York, Washington DC, California, Arizona, Hawaii, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas (just to name a few…) as well as our future travel plans. We strongly feel that maintaining a happy and adventurous lifestyle outside of work allows us to fuel our creativity and experiencing this beautiful world with the ones we love inspires us to become better at our craft. We hope you enjoy this glimpse of our fun memories as much as we enjoy capturing yours!
Our first wedding of 2015 proved to be the perfect kick-off for what’s to come in the new year. Julie and Jorge exchanged their “I do’s” at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, FL where they also partied the night away. From the beautiful coastal setting to each exquisite detail, this wedding had it all! We want to wish Julie and Jorge a lifetime of happiness! Please enjoy a sneak peek from their big day!
